HEN-JENNY

Stella, Jessica and Lucy began playing together in 2012 and soon found that they shared similar musical inspirations; from Warpaint to Bob Dylan. Some months later, Stella's sister Yas joined the band, the girls became great friends, and Hen-Jenny was born. The name Hen-Jenny, as legend has it, translates as 'female b*tch' in an unknown language and encapsulates the subtle irony of Hen-Jenny's song lyrics. Their sound is fun and unusual with elements of pop, punk and rock; full of energy and excitement.

“Tyland” by Hen-Jenny was recorded at Coldplay’s Beehive Studios released on RS Recordings in March 2015.
